Publisher Catherine Ledru

Created in 1984, publisher Catherine Ledru is especially geared towards nature and the environment.

With the participation of the best authors, the books published are, for the majority within the framework of collaboration agreements with the I.R.D., reference tools and popular works that unite rigour and sensitivity. The books for children are closely tied to nature, and the educational posters are entirely dedicated to them. The principal collaborators are Jean-Jacques Mahuteau from Tiki Nui for the design and page-setting, and Denis Vigier from Pix Graphix for the PAO.

Major edition
All the marine biodiversity of New Caledonia in two volumes

These 2 books , Lagons et récifs de Nouvelle-Calédonie , by P. Laboute and B.Richer de Forges, and Poissons de Nouvelle-Calédonie , by P. Laboute and R. Grandperrin (Ed. Catherine Ledru 2000, reprinted 2004, Isbn 2-9505784-3-8), describe the marine biodiversity of New Caledonia on 1040 pages, totalling 2600 species and 4000 photos all taken by Pierre Laboute in New Caledonia.

              

These popular works, unique and of a good scientific standard, are aimed at the general public of all ages and any person who appreciates beauty and saving coral ecosystems, with quality photos and simple language, to which the authors have paid great attention.
